Civic Engagement & Social Action

Thinking Globally, Acting Locally

"We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time."
~T.S. Eliot

Creating social change takes action. Putting your new skills, attitudes and experiences gained abroad into action can take the form of developing an organization, seeking to deepen one’s civic engagement or simply getting involved with already existing community service groups in the community.
