Funding for Study Abroad

Smith students have successfully won the following fellowships and scholarships:

Apply through Don Andrew, Fellowships Advisor:
• David L. Boren Undergraduate Scholarship
• Killam Fellowship for study at a Canadian University
• DAAD Undergraduate Fellowship for study in Germany

Apply through Office for International Study:
• Freeman Asia Program Awards
• Gilman International Scholarship Program

Apply independently:
• Bridging Scholarships for Study in Japan
• Sally Whitcher Awards ($500 travel grants)
• New England-China Scholarship Program (interested students are required to speak with a dean in the Office for International Study prior to applying for this scholarship)
