Admission Requirements

Track A: Geneva International Internship Semester
3.0 GPA, background in political science or government and a strong interest in interning in an international organization. Available in fall for students with 2 years or the equivalent of college level French. Available in spring for students with less than 2 years of French.

Track B: University Studies in French or English
3.0 GPA, 1-2 years of French language. Available fall or year for students with 2 years or the equivalent of college level French, and spring for students with 1 year of French. Studying French in the semester preceeding Geneva is highly recommended.

Track C: Advanced Program in International Studies and Development
3.5 GPA ,1-2 years of French language. Studying French in the semester preceeding Geneva is highly recommended.

For all tracks: Evidence of maturity, responsibility, and preparation for study abroad

Smith students must meet the Smith College Eligibility Guidelines for Study Abroad.
