New York City Bus Trip - December 2008

The Staff Council annual fall New York City trip was once again a huge success. The weather was brisk but comfortable, making the holiday sightseeing and shopping fun. 

This is me and my traveling companions in the Big Apple.

The city was decorated in its finest holiday attire, with holiday music heard everywhere. Here we are in front of Radio City Music Hall.

Here's the newly renovated Plaza Hotel. We wanted to go there to see....

... the home of Eloise, the most famous resident of the hotel.

We also went to Central Park to see the horse drawn carriages. 

My friends and I had lunch at the famous Ellen’s Stardust Diner on 51st and Broadway, it is truly a must go to place. 

The waiters (this is Rufus) are all aspiring actors and actresses and truly sing and dance for their tips. 

We finished the day with a quick ride on the subway downtown to Macy’s to do some final shopping.
