INDEPENDENT STUDY

A student whose area of academic interest and expertise matches that of a member of the full-time faculty of the School may wish to undertake a course of independent study for credit. The student should consult the appropriate Sequence Chair to discuss eligibility, credit status and whether a course of independent study can be approved. Students should be aware that faculty members may not always be available to work with students on independent study. A student considering independent study must notify the Registrar immediately. Elective course typically taken in the final summer. Two quarter-hours.
