This handbook includes
statements of the major policies and regulations of the Smith
College School for Social Work in effect as of the 2007-2008
academic year. Faculty and students are expected to
be conversant with its contents.
Statements in the Smith
College School for Social Work's Handbook should be taken
as the School's current determination of courses, programs,
policies, tuition and fees as presently established.
Admission to specific courses will be dependent on qualifications
of the students and availability of instruction. The
School reserves the right to change its courses, programs
policies, tuition and fees subsequent to the publication of
this handbook.
The Smith College School
for Social Work, through its various faculties and appropriate
committees, reserves the discretionary right to dismiss any
student from the School for failure to maintain satisfactory
academic standing, personal conduct or professional standards.
