ACADEMIC AND FIELD WORK PERFORMANCE STANDING COMMITTEE
Section 500:  Master's Program

500.7 Consultations on Community Projects

Consultations to address issues of performance on community projects may occur if the student has missed deadlines, or if the Community Project Supervisor or the Community Project Advisor has identified problems or concerns regarding the project. The Community Project Coordinator will inform the Director of Field and the Associate Dean that a Consultation should be scheduled. If there are no other academic or field concerns related to the student's performance, a Consultation by conference call may occur. The purpose of the conference call is to identify learning issues and resources needed. The call will result in a clear plan for improving performance. The plan will include how the work will be monitored and the consequences of failing to meet the expectations. Participants in the conference call will be the student, Community Project Supervisor, Community Project Coordinator, the Faculty Field Advisor and a student representative from the Committee. Copies of the plan will be sent to the student, Director of Field Work, Area Field Coordinator, Faculty Advisor and Associate Dean.
