The Smith College School for Social Work
encourages applications from men and women who share in
the School's commitments to professional excellence in clinical
social work and who want to learn more about the use of
relationships to promote healing, growth, and empowerment.
There is no typical Smith student; applicants come from
across the country, each bringing unique perspectives and
talents. Students have been as young as 21 and as experienced
as age 65, and their backgrounds vary widely, but they have
in common an interest in academic excellence, strong
motivation and intellectual curiosity. Whatever
your experience or background, you are invited to add your
voice to our conversation.
