As summer is coming to an end, Curriculum Committee asks current SSW students to take a few moments to reflect on your experiences in the classroom this past term. The Smith Speaks Survey will be open starting Friday 8/8, and will remain open through Friday 8/22. All questions are optional and you can return to finish the survey at any time.
Your responses are the best way for Curriculum Committee to get an idea of what you liked about your classes, as well as things you think could use some improvement! The data from this survey will be used to inform a position paper and conversations with the faculty in the fall at Curriculum Day. By completing this survey, you are making sure that your voice is represented in these conversations.
Thank you for your time and your feedback!

For social workers, clients and community organizers looking for guidance for workplace stresses, the Family Business Resource Center can help.
Lately, all around, people are asking, "How does one avoid the Demoulas/Market Basket situation?" They usually add, "We don't want negative publicity! Our partnership/closely-held enterprise is looking for positive recognition."
How can it be done? By having open, friendly communication about known and unknown difficult issues, new solutions are discovered. Aligning stakeholders -- owners, employees at all levels of the organization, including vendors, customers, and the wider community, sharing the company's visions, positive recognition and success is attainable.
The Family Business Resource Center and David Paradise bring calm support and clear communication to rebalance business entities and family systems to meet today's needs and tomorrow's challenges.
