As field work begins this week, so does the field advising period. Students should be sure to make contact with their Faculty Field Advisers. For the next 8 months, field supervisors and FFAs will offer valuable guidance and support to students. Students will check-in monthly with their advisers, but FFAs are available to students at any time for phone or e-mail consultation. FFAs also visit the field sites twice during the field placement period, meeting with students and their supervisors. The FFA serves as an intermediary between the school and the field agency, ensuring a quality learning experience and the highest standards of clinical field instruction through supervision.
