Summer course on mindfulness-based stress reduction (adapted for SSW students)

SSW will offer a non-credit 8-week program to introduce students to core MBSR practices, in a shortened time-frame, and within a supportive community of peers. There will be an orientation June 4, 2015 at 7pm and the class will meet Thursdays 7-8:30pm.

Unlearning Racism is an intentional, supportive, and open weekly forum where students who identify as white can explore white privilege and practice taking responsibility for our role in structures of oppression.

SSW Professor Josh Miller's U.S.-Africa exchange project was in the news, as the delegation from Uganda and Rwanda attended a conference on conflict-resolution and peacemaking in the South Bronx.
