Attention Box users: Smith College Box storage to end; restrictions start 4/15

Smith's subscription to the Box file-storage service will expire on 5/31/15, at which time Box will delete all Smith Box accounts and contents. Uploading will be blocked as of 4/15/15.

Summer course on mindfulness-based stress reduction (adapted for SSW students)

SSW will offer a non-credit 8-week program to introduce students to core MBSR practices, in a shortened time-frame, and within a supportive community of peers. There will be an orientation June 4, 2015 at 7pm and the class will meet Thursdays 7-8:30pm.

Unlearning Racism is an intentional, supportive, and open weekly forum where students who identify as white can explore white privilege and practice taking responsibility for our role in structures of oppression.

The Roger Miller Dissertation Grant offers $1000 to support the highest level of scholarly dissertation research on at-risk populations by Doctoral candidates at SSW. the Smith College School for Social Work. The deadline is May 9, 2015.
