There are many ways to continue on a life-long
path of learning once students have graduated.
List serves are an online email connection where alumni ask questions and share information with other alumni. The country is divided into five alumni regions, several of which have established list serves that have proven to be a great resource. As alumnae/i of Smith College, graduates of
the School for Social Work are entitled to the same services of the Career Development
Office as the undergraduate alumnae.
Since 1931, Smith College School for Social Work
has offered continuing education programs intended to provide professional development
opportunities to graduate social work practioners and other human service professionals.
The Smith College School for Social Work Program of Continuing Education offers a wide
range of lectures and seminars throughout the year in response to the training needs
of today's clinician. All continuing education programs are sponsored by the Office
of Graduate Enrollment.
