I'm traveling a great distance and my agency will cover some of the expenses since I am getting credits to maintain my licensure. How can I get more CECs? |
| |
If you come a day earlier you can also pick up an additional 6 CECs by attending one of the Summer Seminars that are offered on Thursday, July 17. For a listing of Thursday's course offerings, see: http://www.smith.edu/ssw/geaa/academics_ceweekend.php |

I live outside of Massachusetts; will the CECs be acceptable in my state? |
| |
In general, because the Smith School for Social Work is accredited by CSWE and the state for CECs, most states do accept our credit. The decision, however, rests with each individual state licensing board. We suggest you contact your licensing board for this decision. |

Certificates will be mailed directly to participants upon verification of attendance. They will be sent by mail no later than August 31, 2008. However, if your licensing board will be needing them earlier, you may contact us at sswalum@email.smith.edu to make alternative arrangements. |
