A three day program for clinicians both within and outside of the military who are committed to responding to the mental health needs of returning veterans and their families. This conference will primarily respond to issues of assessment and treatment but will also address policy implications. Specific attunement to the role of diversity, in particular, race and gender, will be considered throughout each presentation. Special attention will be given to those groups which have been underserved through current systems: National Guard and reservists; families; women, especially mothers; partners and children.
