Have a collaborative element - outside community agency, other institution, and/or other discipline involved in the development and implementation of the project
Propose new models for innovative community-based practice - new settings, with new populations, or in fields of service where clinical social work practice has not had a chance to increase its impact and visibility.
Have a research component that will generate new knowledge.
Have a resident faculty member as the lead researcher or advisor on the project
Be financially viable, with a budget that supports the project and demonstrates how the project will be funded beyond the experimental period.
Identify the systemic impact the project anticipates having, including audiences for the dissemination of knowledge generated by the project
Where possible, provide opportunities for internship and/or research at either the masters or doctoral levels.
