Below are the various scholarship opportunities to which you may designate your gift to support.
General Scholarship Funds
Open to any MSW student with demonstrated financial need:

- Ruth Pfeiffer Weisbard (M.S.S. '48) Endowment*
- SCSSW Class of 1954 Scholarship Fund
Scholarship in Support of Students of Color
Preference given to students of color with demonstrated financial need:
- Hazel Augustine (M.S.S. '49) / Katherine Gabel Fund
- Class of '89 Endowment for Students of Color*
- Claire Elkon Philip (M.S.W '65) Scholarship Endowment*
- Christine B. Burke (M.S.S '58) Memorial Scholarship
Funds with Special Restrictions
- Katherine Reebel (M.S.S. '43) Faculty/Student Research Development Fund
Stipend for first and second-year students to work closely with SSW Faculty on research projects
- Joan Untermyer Erdmann Scholarship Endowment*
Restricted to women in financial need returning to school in mid life
- Gay and Lesbian Revolving Student Loan Fund
Interest-free emergency loans restricted to gay or lesbian students
- Eve Geissinger Memorial Endowment*
Stipend for second-year students in financial need being placed in an agency whose mission is to overcome violence against women
- Otto Morningstar Memorial Scholarship Fund*
Preference given to master's or doctoral students supporting the school's commitment to diversity
- Elise Julia Sieker Walker Scholarship Fund*
Preference given to women entering the field after child rearing and/or women with primary interest in working with children
Doctoral Program Support
For any Ph.D. candidates with demonstrated financial need:
- Jeane W. Anastas Award for Excellence in a Doctoral Research Proposal
- Dale W. Dingledine Doctoral Scholars Endowment*
- Doctoral Program Scholarship Fund*
- Stephen R. Kelly Memorial Fund in Support of the Doctoral Program
*Endowments provide scholarship aid solely from a portion of the proceeds of the funds. All nonendowed funds provide for full use of the funds collected.
All undesignated gifts will be deposited into the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
