Financial Aid Instructions (U.S. citizens only)

2014-15 Financial Aid

Financial aid for Ada Comstock Scholars is need-based and is based on the premise that students pay for the cost of education to the extent that they are able, as calculated by a national formula and institutional policy, and that financial aid serves to supplement this effort.

Forms and Deadlines

Please note: There is no January entrance for international Ada Comstock Scholar applicants.

September 2014 entrance (U.S. citizens only)

If you are not required to, and did not file taxes, please submit the Student Nonfiler Form (PDF) and supporting 1099s and W-2s Due: February 15, 2014

*Students who meet the priority deadline are guaranteed to receive their financial aid notification with their admission packets.

Important

Apply for financial aid by the deadlines to qualify; do not wait to be admitted to the college before applying for aid.

U.S. Citizens

Ada Comstock Scholars from the United States who do not apply for aid prior to admission are not eligible to receive institutional aid until they have completed 32 credits at Smith.

International Students

International Ada Comstock Scholars who do not apply for aid prior to admission are not eligible to receive institutional aid at any time.
