Clark Hall 101, (413) 585-4927 The dean of students oversees a comprehensive student development program that includes the offices of the Campus Center and Student Activities, First Year Student Programs, Counseling and Health Services, International Students, Multicultural Affairs and Residential Life. Dean Ohotnicky promotes programs that help students develop a sense of belonging to a supportive educational community. The dean of students is the primary liaison between students and the College administration, and welcomes students’ concerns and suggestions. The Office of the Dean of Students focuses on issues regarding student life and acts as a resource for information and guidance.
Clark Hall 101, (413) 585-4927 The associate dean of students coordinates programs specific to first year students including Pre-Orientation, Orientation, and Family Weekend. She also serves as an adviser to the Student Government Association, providing them with supervision and support. The associate dean is available to meet with students during her open hours, and daily by appointment.

305, (413) 585-4943 The associate dean for international students and student affairs works with international students to provide advice on all matters pertaining to immigration, visas, foreign travel, passports, work authorization, practical training programs and personal and financial problems. Dean Tamzarian also directs the international student pre-orientation program (ISP), and is responsible for all chartered student organizations and their programming efforts. The associate dean for international students and student affairs is available to meet with students during open hours and daily by appointment.
Clark Hall 205, (413) 585-4943 The director of multicultural affairs provides primary support to undergraduate students of color. As the coordinator of the Bridge pre-orientation program, she assists students in their transition to the Smith community. The director also facilitates cultural programming and serves as the adviser to the nine Unity organizations. The director directs the efforts of the Office of Multicultural Affairs which includes such programs as Something on a Friday, Unite dinners and receptions, and Bridge.

The director supervises the residential life staff, working closely with the area coordinators and head residents. She also advises the House Presidents' Association and directs the campus-wide social system. She is available during open hours and by appointment.

The assistant director works closely with the area coordinators and student staff. She also advises the House Presidents' Association and directs the campus-wide social system.
Clark Hall 101, (413) 585-4940 The housing coordinator is responsible for all housing assignments during the academic year as well as summer and vacation housing. She is also responsible for room changes, housing lottery, room draw, off campus petitions, and concerns about room assignments. The housing coordinator works closely with the director and the area coordinators to best meet students' needs regarding their housing and is available to answer question from students regarding their housing.
Campus Center 106, (413) 585-2639 The director of the campus center and student activities provides leadership and direction to the campus center staff in order to ensure programs and services that contribute to overall student life satisfaction and to student learning, oversees the development and management of a comprehensive activities program and management of the campus center and related event services.
Campus Center 106, (413) 585-2639 The assistant director for student activities works collaboratively with campus constituencies to identify and implement a diverse range of activities, designs and implements a comprehensive program of student activities to support students’ social, academic and intellectual interests, develops training programs for student leaders, and designs effective student activities-related policies and practices.
Campus Center 106, (413) 585-2639 The assistant director for facilities and services works collaboratively with students, faculty and staff to plan and implement activities, serves as liaison with Residence and Dining Services and other campus service providers supporting campus center programs and events, is responsible for campus center operations and facility management in support of programs and activities occurring in the campus center.

She will coordinate the Campus Center student employment program and provide direct supervision, support and guidance to the student staff.
