Housing Application for Fall
Leave Students
Welcome back! To ensure that your application for housing will be processed, please make sure you have contacted all appropriate offices and return this housing application by November 13, 2009.
To complete the application, please
list your top EIGHT house choices and answer the questions on
this form. Please be aware that space in one specific house and/or
single room is extremely limited for leave students.
You are not guaranteed to receive a room in any of your eight
house choices. However, with your assistance we will make every
effort to accommodate your interests.
Returning Term (please select one)
The Housing office has already received a number of your housing preference forms, but I wanted to give you an update/reminder on some of the specialty housing and the process to try to live there if you selected one of these options as your 2nd - 8th choice.
In the event that a student coming back from fall abroad has selected Hopkins or Tenney and the room draw waiting list has been exhausted, we will then look at the fall abroad house preferences list to see who has selected one of these houses with the exception of former house students.
Friedman Apartments is housing that you either select with 3 other friends in a special pre-room draw process or when there's one or more openings during any given year and you know someone that has asked you to live with them. These apartments are in a different category than traditional housing and go through a special lottery in March.
Dawes is a house that also pulls off a wait list. You must first have an interview with the HC of the house. Once you've had your interview with the HC, an email is sent to the housing office to put you on the waiting list to live there. This is also the procedure for room draw.
