Housing Application for Fall Leave Students

Welcome back! To ensure that your application for housing will be processed, please make sure you have contacted all appropriate offices and have submitted this housing application by November 4, 2011.

To complete the application, please list your top EIGHT house choices and answer the questions on this form. Please be aware that space in one specific house and/or single room is extremely limited for leave students. You are not guaranteed to receive a room in any of your eight house choices. However, with your assistance we will make every effort to accommodate you. The longer you wait to submit this form, the lower your chances are of receiving your request.

Below is information regarding specialty housing and the process you need to complete if you selected one of these options as your 1st - 8th choice.

In the event that a student coming back from fall abroad has selected Hopkins or Tenney and the room draw waiting list has been exhausted, we will then look at the fall abroad house preferences list to see who has selected one of these houses with the exception of former house students. Those with room change forms filed with the housing office could also be considered.

Friedman Apartments is housing that you either select with 3 other friends in a special pre-room draw process in the spring or when there's one or more openings during any given semester and you know someone that has asked you to live with them. These apartments are in a different category than traditional housing and go through a special lottery in March.

If you are interested in Dawes house, please contact the HC for an interview. Once you've had your interview, an email is sent to the housing office to put you on the waiting list or offer you a space, depending on availability. This is also the procedure for room draw.
