We are currently accepting student staff applications for the 2010-2011 academic year.

You will also need to submit a copy of your unofficial transcript, your essay, and two references (on the forms provided below).

For your assistance, there is an optional checklist below to use to organize your application process.

Complete applications (this includes the application, resume, transcript, and your essay) are due as a packet to the Residence Life Office in Clark Hall by Monday, February, 8, 2010. Candidates will sign up online for an individual interview - here.

Thursday and Friday, February 11 and 12 (10am-7pm)
Individual interviews in Clark Hall

Saturday, February 13 (8:30am-12pm)
Super Saturday Group Interviews in Seelye Hall

Head Residents and House Coordinators

The head resident (HR) and house coordinators (HC) are Smith seniors completing their last year of academic course work. The residence life staff members have been extensively trained for their role in the houses. They are responsible for the management and general welfare of the houses.

House Community Advisors

House community advisors (HCA) are responsible for facilitating community within the house. The HCA is a member of the administrative staff of the college for the term of her service. The HCA is extensively trained for a multiple set of responsibilities that involve a combination of managerial and interpersonal skills.
