The Residential Life Office, overseen by the Dean of Students, is part of Student Affairs Office. The focus of the Residence Life Office is to develop a co-curricular environment that enhances and enriches the academic program. At Smith residential living is an integral part of that education. Students come from varied backgrounds, and the houses provide unique opportunities for them to learn about each other's experiences.

While The Residential Life Office works closely with dining services, housekeeping, and facilicies management questions about dining and facilities are best directed to those respective departments.
