Changes to the handbook made following the first day of classes are noted here in the Errata & Changes section.
10/10/07:
Several instances listing the location of Central Services (formerly at 84 Green Street) were erroneous. These locations have been fixed to indicate 122 West Street. The following pages were affected:

The annual update of the Smith College Policy on Substance Use and Substance Use was forwarded for inclusion in the handbook. The original pages are still available at:

The Code of Student Conduct was reordered and revised. The changes were extensive - the original page may be found here:

The Prohibited Conduct section was revised to include section 4 which involves bias complaints and renumbered to reflect this addition.

The Judicial Board page was updated to reflect a change in the Article number of the applicable bylaws section.

Changes were made in the SGA Bylaws, Article VII Sections 1 (additions), 4.E (deleted), 8.B.2 (additions), and 8.B.4 (additions) - the original page may be found here:

2/15/08:
Changes were made in the Sources of Discretionary Funds for Students section (under policies). The old text read:
Jeannine Pease, College Hall 201
Funds for individual students to attend conferences, professional meetings, retreats and workshops. Also funding for student groups' on-campus activities. Funding is provided for an individual student only once per academic year.
Restrictions: No funding for courses taken for academic credit.
