Gardiner House
Gardiner House is one of the 10 houses of "the Quad." The path to campus is very scenic, passing the president's house and Paradise Pond.
The Quad was built in stages starting in 1922 and it now houses the largest concentration of students on campus. Traditionally, all 10 houses engage in a friendly competition to determine who is "Best of The Quad"—a distinction determined by who has successfully stolen the "Best of the Quad" banner from the house that previously possessed it.
Gardiner is a 10-minute walk to campus and a 15-minute walk to downtown Northampton.
