Director of Residence Life

The director of residence life is responsible for all areas of residence life at Smith College. The director supervises the residential life staff, working closely with the area coordinators and head residents.
Associate Director of Residence Life
Hannah Durrant

The associate director is a member of the Residence Life professional staff. She works collaboratively with the Director of Residence Life, primarily in programming, training and recruitment. She also works closely with the area coordinators and student staff. She advises the House Presidents' Association and directs the campuswide social system.
Assistant Director of Residence Life
Erica Banz

The assistant director is a member of the Residence Life professional staff. Her primary job responsibilities are housing assignments including room assignments, break housing, spring housing lottery, room change requests and extended and early arrival housing. She also works with the director and associate director in the overall leadership of the department.
Area Coordinators
Open hours: Please check each area coordinator's individual area page for their open hours.
Area coordinators are residence life professional staff members who work closely with the house communities within their assigned area. There is a residence life office in each area. The area coordinators and house student staff are the first points of contact if students have questions about their housing.
