Religious Dining Options
Smith respects the role of food in the lives of students, not only for physical sustenance, but as an expression of culture and faith. The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life works with dining services to provide daily and holiday meals in accordance with Jewish and Muslim religious requirements.

Kosher-Halal
Our Kosher-Halal dining facility at Cutter-Ziskind serves lunch and dinner five days a week. The facility is supervised by David Aminia, a mashgiach trained through the Orthodox Va'ad in Springfield. In addition, Zabihah meat is provided in a separate bay in the dining room for Muslim students. Please note: This year, you need to reserve Kosher meals on holidays and weekends! The online reservation form can be found here.
Vegan & Vegetarian
Northrup-Gillett dining rooms serve vegan and vegetarian meals seven days a week.
Mindful Eating Space
The southern end of King-Scales dining room is a place for students to improve their relationship with food and their body and to explore practical strategies to improve their concentration, working memory, and mood, while reducing stress and anxiety.
