I believe our Lord Jesus Christ is our Savior and I follow the Doctrine of Christianity:
My denomination is Methodist and I am supported by the Korean American Citizens League. At Smith, I am one of the Campus's chaplains: I lead religious counseling as a pastor for students through Bible study, worship and prayer. I have been involved with Smith College for over thirty years.
The world is constantly changing and evolving. I think spirituality plays a role in reconnecting students to their faith, creating a strong foundation, provides them with a sense of comfort, and gives them something constant in this rapidly ever changing world. It also aids them in finding a balance in their lives with the grace of their Creator.
I have learned that as a community we need to come together, regardless of race, ethnicity, and religion. We need to be patient with one another and work together to make the Smith community a better place for all.
