The Smith College Handbell Choir was founded in 1984 by the College's Organist, Grant Moss. The handbells were a gift to the College from Elinor Frantz Clarke, Class of 1934.
The 12-member choir rehearses and performs throughout the academic year in various venues, including Protestant and Catholic worship services, Family Weekend Montage, Advent Dinner, and Christmas Vespers. In addition, the Handbell Choir performs in off-campus community concerts.
