Special Registration Procedures
Registration in Chemistry and Physics
Registration for multi lab courses in chemistry and physics is by waitlist only. Students should register for both parts of the course by putting their names on as many waitlists as will fit into their schedules. If a course has only one lecture section, simply put your name on the waitlist for that section and that will insure your registration in that section. At the conclusion of the early registration period, students will be assigned and registered for the specific sections of these courses.
Smith courses offered on other campuses
Smith courses offered on other campuses (i.e. Five College Astronomy courses) are listed in our catalogue and schedule of classes and require special registration procedures. Students intending to enroll in such courses must register via the Five College online request form (accessed through a link at the bottom of the BannerWeb course registration page).
Music Performance courses
Beginning with the Fall Semester 2011 there will be no early registration for Music Performance Courses. Students should submit an approved and signed performance registration form to the Registrar's Office by the end of the Add/Drop period. Forms may be obtained from the Music department office or from the Registrar's office website.
