REGISTRATION PROCEDURES - Fall 2008

Advising and registration for the spring semester will take place April 7-18, 2008.  Access to online registration through BannerWeb is scheduled by class standing.  While students may not gain access to registration prior to the start date for each class, they may register on any subsequent day. All online registrations, including Five College applications, must be completed by the end of the day on Friday, April 18th. Students should plan to meet with their advisers and register for classes according to the following dates:

*Total credits = completed plus current registered hours.

BannerWeb access begins at 8 a.m. on each start date.

Follow these procedures:

Review the Course Catalogue, Schedule of Classes and registration guidelines. (All course information, instructions and worksheets are available on this Web site.)

Schedule an appointment to meet with your adviser to discuss your course program.

In preparation for your appointment, complete a Registration
Worksheet (.pdf). Be sure to include all CRN numbers of the courses you are planning to take.

Be sure you know and have tested your BannerWeb PIN number before meeting with your adviser.

Check BannerWeb for holds on your account.  Access the “View Holds” option from the Student Records Menu. You will not be able to register if you have a hold.

Register! Registration can take place in one of two ways:
  - through your adviser during your advising appointment, or
  - if your adviser permits, directly through BannerWeb.  Obtain your NEW REG code from your adviser during your advising meeting. A new code is assigned for each early registration period and each add/drop period.

Verify your registration by viewing your course schedule for the coming semester on BannerWeb.

If you are planning to enroll in a Five College course in the fall, please be sure to submit your request through BannerWeb before the end of the registration period.  Information and instructions are posted at Five College Interchange Registration.

Please note:  By using the BannerWeb online registration system, students do so with the understanding that they have met and consulted with their advisers about their course programs and have processed any course selections or changes in accordance with the adviser-approved plans for course registration. It is the responsibility of both student and adviser to plan a course program that will lead to successful completion of all degree requirements.

Help is available at the registrar's office. The office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday during the registration period.
