Writing a senior thesis?
Do you plan to have quantitative data?

Writing a thesis can require both analysis of and writing about data, so the Spinelli Center, with support from the Jacobson center, is sponsoring a bi-weekly quantitative thesis writers' group where students can explore issues related to data collection, management, analysis, organization, and writing.

Sharla Alegria, the Statistics Counselor, will be available during the biweekly sessions. Naila Moreira, the scientific writing specialist at the Jacobson Center, will attend several sessions focused on the writing process.

These meetings will help you plan your progress and reach your research goals. It will also help you connect with other thesis writers to provide each other with support through this demanding process. This group will be very beneficial for anyone using quantitative data for their thesis, and we hope you will attend.

Pre-registration is not necessary.

The series will be held in the Spinelli Center every other Thursday from 5-6pm.

Meeting dates for the Spring semester: 1/31, 2/14, 2/28, 3/14, 3/28.

Please join us for the first meeting on January 31st, from 5-6pm in the Spinelli Center for Quantitative Learning.
