Q-Tutors in the QLC: The Q-tutors hold open drop-in hours in the QLC. They can help with artihmetic, algebra, function basics, quantitative skill basics, "pre-calculus" and some calculus.

• Arithmetic: adding fractions, computing percentages, ratios, fractions to decimals, etc.
• Algebra: solving a linear equation for one variable, solving two linear equations simultaneously, rules of exponents, logarithms, trigonometry, etc.
• Functions, their graphs, their equations, their properties: linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, trignonometric, etc.

Depending on which Q-tutor you see, she might be able to help with the quantitative and mathematical parts of economics, engineering, chemistry, physics, statistics, etc.

Q-tutoring hours: Taylor, Etta, Emma, Nueng, and Darcy are engineering majors at various stages, and Havi is an economics major.

Master tutors in Chemistry, Economics, Engineering, Physics, Psychology 190, and Social Science Q-courses:
The master tutors in these disciplines are students who, in general, are majoring in that department and have had the course(s) that they tutor.
