Health & STEM Professions Lunchbag Series
Smith Prehealth hosts a weekly lunchbag series for students interested in careers in STEM, including the health professions. Students exploring career options are urged to attend presentations on a variety of topics.
Unless otherwise noted, lunchbags are held on Fridays from 12:15 to 1 pm in McConnell Hall.

November 7 - Student panel on summer experiences
November 14 - The Application Process with Committee Letter (Katie Lipp, presenter)
This presentation will orient upcoming applicants to the process of requesting a committee letter of evaluation from the Board of Prehealth Advisers. All students who will apply to medical (MD/DO), dental, optometry or podiatry school, to enter in the fall of 2016, are expected to attend this presentation. Students who will enter one of these professional schools after fall 20106 are also welcome to attend. Those planning to apply to a professional school not listed above do not need to come to this presentation.
November 21 - Personal Statements for Health Profession School (Daryl Gehman, presenter)
This presentation will provide upcoming applicants with tips on writing their personal statement. Students who plan to apply to any type of health profession school, to enter in the fall of 2016, are strongly encouraged to attend this presentation. All are welcome.
