at helping them identify and put into practice current research in the learning

specific co-taught courses, integrate students into intellectual life of life sciences

Re-engage younger
generations of alumnae in meaningful ways with the college. |
- Create student internship opportunities with alumnae in areas linked to college’s
strategic directions and prominent areas of student career interests.
- Strengthen alumnae ties to the curriculum and co-curriculum by involving them
in environment-related courses, fieldwork, internships, and panels. (Joanne

- Continue to explore alumnae affinity groups centered on professions or shared
interests.
- Use alumnae to teach January term courses.
- Develop a sophisticated understanding of younger alumnae perceptions of Smith
as well as their values and life goals. Conduct an annual survey of
