Susan Levin

The focus of Susan Levin's current research is ancient philosophy and bioethics. She is the author of Plato's Rivalry with Medicine:
A Struggle and Its Dissolution
(Oxford University Press, 2014). Professor Levin has also published The Ancient Quarrel between Philosophy and Poetry Revisited: Plato and the Greek Literary Tradition (Oxford University Press, 2001) and numerous articles.

Her teaching interests include ancient and medieval philosophy, bioethics, continental philosophy, and the relationship between philosophy and literature.
