Susan Levin

The focus of Susan Levin's current research is ancient philosophy and bioethics. Her book, Plato's Rivalry with
Medicine: A Struggle and Its Dissolution,
will be published by Oxford later this year. Professor Levin has previously published The Ancient Quarrel between Philosophy and Poetry Revisited: Plato and the Greek Literary Tradition (Oxford 2001) and numerous articles on Plato.

Her teaching interests include ancient and medieval philosophy, bioethics, continental philosophy, and the relationship between philosophy and literature.
