To celebrate Otelia Cromwell Day, Smith College
presents a performance of the Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble at the Academy of
Music Theatre in Northampton, Tuesday, November 10 at 7:30 p.m.
Dance Theatre of Harlem is a leading dance institution
of unparalleled global acclaim, encompassing a dance company; a leading arts education
center; and Dancing Through Barriers, a national and international education
and community outreach program. Each component of Dance Theatre of Harlem carries
a solid commitment towards enriching the lives of young people and adults around
the world through the arts.
To celebrate Dance Theatre of Harlem’s 40th anniversary
in 2009, an inaugural national tour has been organized for Dance Theatre of Harlem
Ensemble, a 14-member company comprised of younger dancers trained in the DTH style.

Student tickets are $5 and are available only at the Campus Center
