Staff and faculty at Smith who have a disability
or might be experiencing difficulties that could be related to a disabling condition
should contact the Office of Disability Services to set up a meeting. We will be
glad to discuss your concerns and help you determine the best course of action. If
you already have documentation of a disability, we will request that you present
that to the office within a reasonable time frame after meeting with us to support
your need for specific accommodations or services requested. If you do not have documentation,
we will assist you in identifying an appropriate referral. All communication with
the Office of Disability Services is confidential.
You may also wish to inform Human Resources if you have a specific need for job related accommodations, however you can speak confidentially with the Office of Disability Services to determine if contacting HR would be appropriate. |
