Smith College Fetes Stellar Employees
NORTHAMPTON, Mass.—Along with staff members marking milestone service anniversaries, 16 Smith College staff members were honored recently as Employee Excellence Award-winners at the college’s annual employee recognition ceremony in Sage Hall. After a screening of video profiles of each of the winners, Smith College President Carol T. Christ presented them with certificates of their award. The ceremony was followed by a college-wide reception at the Smith College Club.
Recognized for exemplifying the work traits most valued by the college, like “teamwork,” “community” and “service,” the winners were chosen by their peers to receive a $1,000 bonus in an innovative reward program now entering its ninth year.
