This week, Smith College Executive Education for Women launched a leadership development program for women at the leading media company serving Hispanic America.

The program for Univision Communications Inc., will work with female programming managers, producers, news anchors and correspondents in the company’s Miami operation.

Taught by business-school faculty and leadership experts, the curriculum will focus on the development of leadership skills, especially in areas that are uniquely challenging to women. Program participants will also learn from Univision executives about the company’s strategies and goals.

Smith College Executive Education for Women has more than 35 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies to develop and advance women of potential at all levels of their organizations.

“We are delighted to collaborate with leaders at Univision who have a solid vision for gender balance in leadership,” said Iris Newalu, executive director of Smith Executive Education. “We believe that having both female and male champions at the top is key to driving sustainable change.”
