What IS it?

As clouds cleared on Tuesday, June 5, a crowd gathered on the roof of McConnell Hall and donned special glasses to view the rare "Transit of Venus," a twice-a-century event in which the planet Venus travels between earth and the sun. The viewing was hosted by the astronomy department.
