The Smith eDigest is sent to all campus email accounts on Tuesday and Thursday each week during the academic year and on Tuesdays during the summer, providing important notices, college news and other information. Items for eDigest are limited to official Smith business. We reserve the right to edit submissions. eDigest items must be submitted by 5 p.m. on the day prior to the next edition’s distribution.
To have your event information sent to local media calendars, go to the Resources section of your event’s 25Live record and select the “Publicity-Local Media Calendars” resource (in the “Publicity” category). This should be done at least three weeks in advance to accommodate deadline schedules.
If you think your event may warrant additional attention off campus, contact Marti Hobbes, news coordinator, at least one month in advance to discuss other types of promotion that may be appropriate.
