Campus Camera: What’s Inside the Box?

Students in Computer Science 103, How Computers Work, taught by Dominique Thiebaut, recently found out exactly what was inside the box of a personal computer when they opened them up and took out every single part—circuit boards, CPUs, memory chips, processors.

The exercise, which took place in the Ford Hall atrium, was intended to give the participants a perspective few people see.
