The C-SPAN Bus, an interactive touring vehicle that visits college campuses and other venues nationwide, made a stop at Smith on Wednesday, Sept. 19, and opened its doors for students and others to climb aboard and learn about the cable network’s public affairs programming and resources. The Smith stop was part of the C-SPAN Bus tour promoting the network’s program First Ladies, an historic series of profiles of American presidents’ wives. Smith, the college of two former First Ladies, Nancy Reagan and Barbara Bush, was a prominent stop on the tour.
