Rally Day 2014 Celebrates Smith Medal at 50, Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1:30 p.m., John M. Greene Hall


Students, get together with your houses. Seniors, don your most creative hats and graduation gowns. All in the Smith community, it's time to rally together to celebrate Smith and its outstanding alumnae. Rally Day 2014, on Wednesday, Feb. 19, beginning at 1:30 p.m. in John M. Greene Hall, is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Smith College Medal. This year's Smith Medalists, who will speak as a panel, are: artist Susan Hiller '61; biotechnology entrepreneur Susan May Molineaux '75; journalist and author Amy Ellis Nutt '77; and diplomat Farah A. Pandith '90. Also on the program: presentations of teaching awards, the Gavel Awards, performances by the Glee Club, and as always, the vaunted Smith tradition of Gaudeamus Igitur.
