Emergency Notification System Test on Oct. 2
On Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m., Smith’s Campus Police Department will test the college’s emergency notification system. Please follow the instructions within the message and respond so the college can determine how well the system works. If you need to make changes to your emergency contact information prior to this test, do so by 5 p.m. on October 1. To receive emergency messages through your cell phone, via text or voice, update your emergency contact information by logging on to BannerWeb and clicking on Personal Information, then Emergency Information Review and Update. Alternatively, update information through the Smith Portal: http://portal.smith.edu (log in with network username and password. When the portal page opens, click on My Info, then on the Personal Data link in the Personal Info block. This will open your BannerWeb account, where you can select Personal Information, then Emergency Information Review and update.
