Energy Saving Lighting Fair
In an effort to help Smith employees,
students and their families save money and energy at home,
as well as help protect our planet’s
environment, Smith is hosting an Energy Saving
Lighting Fair today, Thursday, Nov. 15, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., in
the Campus Center, where you can purchase
at deep discounts from an ENERGY STAR® certified
vendor.
The lighting fair is part
of the ,
and is sponsored by National Grid. Lighting Fairs offer education
about the features and benefits of ,
as well as great prices on energy-saving products that help
lower the cost of ratepayers' energy bills, and reduce our
nation's carbon footprint. The Mass Save Program, which all
residents contribute to through their energy bills, enables
us to offer these products at special prices for you to purchase
and use at home. It's a win-win for everyone to "Go
Green".

In preparation for the lighting
fair, be sure to do an inventory of the lights you need to
replace in your home. Methods of payment will be cash or
check only (no credit cards); sales tax will be applicable.
