Botanic Garden Receives Accreditation
 Smith’s Botanic Garden was recently awarded an arboretum accreditation (level III) by the accreditation program.
The distinction signifies a high degree of professional standards and practices important for arboreta and botanic gardens, and brings heightened recognition among other professional gardens in the Morton Register of Arboreta.
“We are extremely impressed with your accomplishments and the potential at your botanic garden,” said Sue Paist, a coordinator with the ArbNet program, in notifying Botanic Garden Director Michael Marcotrigiano of the accreditation.
