a Beautiful Morning—Must Be Mountain Day
It's fall, it's beautiful, and
the bells were ringing early this morning. That means it's
Mountain Day 2011. One of Smith's oldest and dearest traditions,
the annual Mountain Day is a surprise break from classes.
Students are encouraged to get outside for hiking, apple
picking and relaxation. A picnic lunch can be provided for
the purpose by the college.
