Dems to Host Mass. Campaigners
In the 2010 midterm elections,
all of the campaigns in Massachusetts were run by women.
As part of its annual
Internship Month, the Smith Democrats will host a panel,
on Monday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. in Seelye 301, featuring three
prominent Massachusetts campaign managers: Sydney Asbury,
Deputy Chief of Staff for Governor Deval Patrick, and campaign
manager for the governor's campaign last year; Jennifer Murphy,
campaign manager for Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray; and
Anne Roach, who ran the Massachusetts Democratic Party's
coordinated campaign.
The three panelists will discuss
their experiences, where internships in campaigns can take
you, and advice they have for Smith students interested in
getting involved. |
