Electric Testing to Take Place Aug. 14-15
On Thursday,
August 14, testing of the college's electric system will
resume between 5 and 7 a.m. with momentary power outages
across campus expected. More outages will occur on Friday,
August 15, again between 5 and 7 a.m. Potential
for unplanned outages will remain until testing is completed
on or before September 9, 2008.
On Wednesday, Aug. 13, electrical
switch gear testing between 5 and 7 a.m. proceeded
as scheduled and included adjustments to equipment. The campus
experienced approximately five 1-minute outages and two momentary
(2- to 3-second) power outages. |
